Take "turn a profit" with a grain of salt when talking about college athletic departments. You don't turn a profit if you spend all of your money, and due to amateurism rules, schools are actually incentivized to spend everything so as to claim they have nothing to pay players or potentially have to pay taxes (if rules and/or tax laws were ever changed).

University Presidents are the biggest jokes going. Every time that there is a scandal of any sort, they all try to claim ignorance. I trust University President's less than I trust politicians.
