Ludlow as billed. I'm going to credit the monsters who play the offensive line for creating the holes that allowed Blackburn and Stratton to run into the Brossart secondary with a head of steam, resulting in many, many 5, 6 and 7 yard pickups, and 7 times Blackburn ran for touchdowns. Great showing for the 6-0 Panthers who are heading to Dayton and 7-0 next week.

Blackburn is amazing. His numbers alone should at least put him in Mr. Football discussion if they look at stats at all and not just the school they are at. It would be awesome to see a player at a small school like Ludlow win it.

He is worth seeing. I expect him to have his moments versus Beechwood. I don't think the game will be that close but there will be some good stuff to see.

Just showing my age....Blackburn reminds me of Herbie Phelps. That is a very strong compliment that most of you youngsters won't understand.

Ludlow will have to relocate to Louisville or Lexington in order for that to happen.

If there's a better HS stadium setting than JRMS with its stands facing the Ohio flowing by behind the field some 100 feet away, I haven't seen it.

Kind of the track meet I expected. Ludlow's Blackburn could be the best back BW will face this year. He maybe the best 1A back in the state.

I think Ludlow will put up some points against Beechwood but the big challenge will be on the Ludlow defense and special teams to keep Beechwood from lighting up the scoreboard.
