Boone County 34 Ryle 22

I know, what was he doing?

It was terrible. I wanted to call the plays for them instead of what I knew they were going to run. It was defeatist football and I hate that. Inspite of it, they almost got back in it. Then your down one score and you don't onside kick when you have no timeouts???????? I guess if you don't want to have the pressure of the last game of the regular season then that's a good call.

Heard on the radio on the way home that Farris had about 150 yards and 3 TDs.

That's kinda misleading, his last TD that iced the game was at least 70 yards with I'm guessing less than two minutes to play.

I would think it had to be more than 150. I believe he carried it about 10 times on the first series that Boone County drove 70 yards for a TD and I think there was only one pass. Had to have 50 yards there. Plus two other TDs and the 70 Yard TD.

Could be, I was just saying the 70 yard TD that iced the game kinda skewed his yardage. I have no idea, he could have had 300. I only saw the thrid quarter on as I was elsewhere before that.:D

You are right Sandman32. Ryle was sending everyone at that point of the game when he ran for the last TD.

That's just what was reported on the radio when I got in the car. Maybe I heard wrong but I don't think so.

You've got to blame the OC a little. Who runs the ball when your down with that little amount of time?

Heck, I'm a women and I could have had called it better.:scared: That was just frustrating to watch.

Make no mistake about it, it's 100% she. :D I hope LN doesn't sue me for saying that.;)

outcoached?

5 minutes remaining, Ryle needs 2 scores and we are running every down?

End of the 3rd quarter, Ryle driving. 3rd and 3 at the 40 and we pass and kill the rally. Wow

Maybe we didn't want to show them anything yet.

Farris probably had 60 to 70 yards rushing when he broke the 70 yarder on the sell out. Ryle never did put an offense stratogey together tonight.

That's what I saw at the end of the game. I'm lookign forward to the replay of the game.

It was an interesting strategy to say the least. They were down 18 with about 9 minutes left and ran almost every down eating up clock. They did eventually score after throwing a long pass to Morgan but time was short.

This was my first time watching Ryle since the CCH scrimmage. They're one-dimensional which is going to be (and was tonight) a problem. Their passing game (not just the qb - everyone ) was not good even before they were down.
