I don't know if you guys know this but I don't actually have the power to announce state champions at any point in the season. Was just saying I think Cov Cath is #1 team in 5A at the moment. Jeez Loueeez. Bowling Green got beat by a couple scores by a team that hasn't sniffed around a state championship in a long time. And Cov Cath destroyed Lex Cath at their house. Just my opinion... If it is so taboo to talk about rankings why have this website?

 

Of course the actual team and coach is just thinking about next week. Us armchair QBs don't have to focus on playing in the games, therefore we can dream about whatever stuff we want. That is how this website works.

Still, what about beating a 6a team that turned around to go into OT with a Henry Clay who in turn was just coming off of getting smoked by tates creek who in turn just got drug by Fredrick Douglass who was coming off being shut out by Danville. All that to say let's pump our breaks on the coronation parade in August.

I actually agree with Cov Catholic gaining the #1 spot. From what I read they are playing some really good football early. They probably are playing the best football in 5A at this time.
