Covington Catholic looked like the #1 team in 5A last night. As a Lexington Catholic fan I'm hoping they actually are, otherwise this could be a long season.

 

On the bright side LexCath has new new uniforms for the 1st time in a decade and they look sharp. No black in the regular uniforms it appears. I'm sure LC's black alternates will be worn still.

As much as everybody is showing the love to the Offense what about the "D"?

I think it is safe to say Cov Cath has eclipsed BG as the top team to beat in 5A after this week. They are a well-oiled machine with a possible Mr Ky at the helm.

Still, what about beating a 6a team that turned around to go into OT with a Henry Clay who in turn was just coming off of getting smoked by tates creek who in turn just got drug by Fredrick Douglass who was coming off being shut out by Danville. All that to say let's pump our breaks on the coronation parade in August.
