I think Highlands is on the way up this year. Cooper did lose a lot so this should be Highlands by a couple scores.

I hate this but I think HHS gets this one. Cooper will probably be undersized on both lines and it should take a couple weeks for Borchers to coach these young players up. Coopers running game may be ok, I just need to see some receivers step up before they start putting some W's up. Hope I'm wrong but Cooper is so young.

Cooper by 7. Yes Cooper is young but they are talented. Borchers will have them ready.

How are coopers db's?

Don't know. Boone didn't put the ball in the air much in the scrimmage.

Coopers db's at corner are Dillon Perry junior and Roman McClaine senior and at safety it's Justin Schlarman senior and Anthony Witchey sophomore. All are solid. It's gets very young after that.

I would say Highlands will score often in this one. As Hellbird pointed out Boone was one dimensional. If Highlands can get some outside running and a bit of a passing game going along with running up the middle they will score often.

It will be a interesting matchup if Perry gets matched up with Venneman two of the fastest players in nky.

Highlands should win this game but it will be close.

Cooper 7

I think Cooper pulls this one out in a close one.

Certainly not much talk on here about this game. Did not make the HHS scrimmage this past Friday. I was told that the D-Line played well all things considered, O-line struggled a little which resulted in little to no running game. Heard that Highlands looked to stretch the field several times and that St. X simply just grabbed the receiver to take the 15 yard penalty rather than give up a potential long gainer or possible touchdown. Hearing that several guys will be seeing action on both sides of the ball this year at times, just do not understand why it took three plus years to figure out.

Grady Cramer did not dress, anyone?????

Interested to hear what others closer to both programs might be able to offer up.
