August 14, 20179 yr After re thinking this whole topic,when you have announcers who have been around for a long time,you tend to grow tired of them. I'm sure there are people in Los Angeles, who thought Vin Scully sucked!!! 67 long,long years!!!! ...lol!!!

August 21, 20179 yr I've listened to a bunch of them. Marty is a pain but he's absolutely the best at calling a game and it's not close. And he's not what he was 10 years ago. Scully may set a romantic scene but Marty calls play better. Scully has said if he has to listen to a game he'd want Marty to call it. That said, jim Day did game other night, I think his first on radio and I thought he did very well.

August 23, 20179 yr I would just prefer that it be the same 2 guys every night. I enjoyed it when I would turn on the radio and know who was going to be doing the game. I do not like having different announcers on the radio and tv every series.
