July 29, 20179 yr Hearing they will be shuttling from the Kroger and elsewhere, is this confirmed? After REO drew upwards of 100,000 people to the free Blue Ash event, figure this one may do half a million, may have to arrive around the end of August.
July 29, 20179 yr Walking distance from my house I will be there. How much room do you have in the driveway, might just have to park at your crib.
July 29, 20179 yr How much room do you have in the driveway, might just have to park at your crib. None in my driveway but plenty on the street but I am about a mile from St.Celica. They usually have bus pick up at Krogers or Summit View Academy.
July 29, 20179 yr Would rather see Bobby Knight Ranger and Mouse Rat! If Li'l Sebastian was there, it would be awesome.
July 29, 20179 yr How much room do you have in the driveway, might just have to park at your crib. My wife's cousin lives within walking distance. We usually get there in the early afternoon and hang out in their pool then walk over. I'm only going to see Night Ranger. Gonna miss Little River band on Sunday, as I have a fantasy football draft.
July 31, 20179 yr I saw LRB a few years ago. The group is a favorite whipping boy of online trolls griping about the present lineup. While there are no original members, Nelson has been singing with the group for 37 years and he still sounds good. The harmonies are still good and they try to keep the music fresh by exploring new arrangements to some of the old tunes. No, they aren't the Shorrock, Birtles, and Goble LRB of the seventies and eighties but it's still fun to hear the great hits of yesteryear given a fresh interpretation. Plus, the drummer Ryan Ricks , I believe(??), is from Winchester. I know he attended Belmont Univ., worked with Lacy J. Dalton, and did some backup singing for Loretta Lynn. I believe Rick left the business for about 15 years before getting a call from an old friend who hooked him up with the LRB.
July 31, 20179 yr Already bought tickets to see Bob Seger in Noblesville, IN that evening. My partner in crime for this concert is going to be sad; she never misses the St. Cecelia festival!
July 31, 20179 yr I'll most likely be there Saturday. Probably not for the concert, but the wife and I love church festivals.
August 2, 20179 yr Already bought tickets to see Bob Seger in Noblesville, IN that evening. My partner in crime for this concert is going to be sad; she never misses the St. Cecelia festival! May be going to see Hank and Skynard there, never been there before. How is the drive and venue? Have read traffic is a nightmare and may stay close and walk to event if possible. What are you experiences with concerts here? Thanks

What are you experiences with concerts here? Thanks This will likely be of no help but... I was there once in '96 for Lollapalooza When Metallica and Soundgarden headlined, and while I have a visual in my mind of the place, which isn't much different than Riverbend, I don't recall having any trouble finding it, coming and going, or parking. My memory of it has everything playing out smoothly. It wasn't in downtown Indy, but outside of the 465 loop northeast of the metropolitan area. I also recall after an all day festival I was way too tired to drive the 2 hours home, so about a half an hour into my drive I pulled off and found a very impressive brand new budget hotel that was as clean as a whistle, and caught me some much needed Z's before setting out in the morning for home. Can't remember the name, but I'll always remember it as a beacon of light and a godsend when cheap hotels in unfamiliar places can be dicey at best. The key was that it was brand new with no sign of wear. I tend not to like spending money just to sleep, but it was well worth keeping me from falling asleep behind the wheel.
August 31, 20179 yr Night Ranger is Saturday night but I will be on the couch watching College Football.
August 31, 20179 yr Id love to go but we are having our Block Party same night. May catch LRB on Sunday though,
September 3, 20179 yr Need a shoehorn to fit another person in here.....huge crowd on hand. Please describe what a 'huge' crowd is that is there to see this massively famous band.
