I love most things about my job, but the best part is when former students come back or contact me and let me know that somehow something I taught or said to them made a difference in their life.

I work part time and have tremendous flexibility of when I work. As OlDog75 said, not having to supervise anyone and not really being supervised is great. I get tasks to do, I get them done by the timeline and have another in the wings.

 

As a school administrator 10 years ago, it was seeing students succeed in a variety of ways. Ans as TB & G stated, it never gets old when a former student says something nice about you or visits you.
