Isn't the ban only for travel somehow paid for by California? Private citizens are free to come.

It is. But the consequences of the legislation passed will be similar to what NC faced over the bathroom legislation.

Gun nuts and truckers spend a lot of money. I have worked the Mid America Trucking show many times. I don't think our Pony Club will make up the difference if they leave. Though, I am not sure the NRA really cares what CA thinks at this point.

Call me crazy but most the organzations you listed aren't pulling out because of this law.

Those are only the top 10. Louisville hosts hundreds of conventions annually.

Tourism is the third largest industry in the city.

Call me crazy, but it's "kinda" important to a quarter million people who work in some facet of the industry that we keep growing the hospitality industry.

So again I am asking you what should be done differently. I'm all about the pocket book driving policy as long as you and others are consistent on all topics. If the law turns into a net negative I will side with you. But on many topics when it comes to politics and I bring this up liberals disagree with me I leave emotion out in politics. In the words of my favorite hip hop group C.R.E.AM.

Tell me what this legislation actually accomplished for the greater good of all Kentuckians.

But to answer your question I think protecting relgious freedoms is important. If you are a religious group who disagrees with homosexuality you should not be forced to admit them. I may not personally agree with that sentiment I do believe in religious freedom.
