I've not watched a minute of this. CNN alert on my phone came up and said that Comey engineered a leak that he said was in response to a tweet from the President. CNN reported that the leak was published at least one day before the tweet he said he was replying to.

I would like to know how a FBI Director can create a document (his notes after talking to President Trump) on a Classified Laptop Computer and then decide on his own, once he is a Private Citizen, to leak that Government Document to a friend?

I am not suggesting anyone go after Comey right now, we still are sorting through the facts and have an open investigation.

 

What I would suggest everyone do is consider Comey's Eroding Credibility.

 

In my case, every time he has popped up on TV since last July my opinion of his credibility has gone down.

I'm not sure how that works since the memos aren't technically classified information but if the memos were done on a classified laptop does that make that information classified. That's a great question. No one asked that question today though while I was watching.

Thinking on it a little more Comey told the world about the memos, leaked the memos, turned over the memos and publicly testified about the memos. I don't feel like he intentionally committed a crime so I don't have an issue with his memos.

It appeared to me no one on committee had bothered to ask for them. Comey seemed willing to hand them over if/when he got them back.
