As I've noted, the G-Bomb takes care of a lot these problems. Collateral damage is pretty limited in my scenario. And the fear factor goes through the roof.

And if we become okay with killing innocent women and children then we are every bit as evil as they are.

 

You do realize that virtually 100% of their casualties are "innocent civilians", while we at least try to minimize the collateral damage; despite their efforts to hide among the "innocent civilians" in an effort to make us look evil??

Maybe. Of course he dropped them first and then told the public. The difference would be that many knew the invasion of Japan was coming and most knew that casualties for the US were expected to be close to a million.

 

When we lose over 400,000 in a four year war again I think the US public will be more than steeled for harsh destruction.
