6 Year Old Boy Shot Dead In Back Seat Of Stolen Car In Mississippi

Featured Replies

I don't lock them at home, work or Wal Mart and we leave our back door open for our dogs to go outside while we are at work. What's going to happen is going to happen. If you think a locked door is going to stop a crook then you've been blessed to never have met a real crook. Locked doors don't stop God's plan.

God also gives us the common sense to do all we can to protect ourselves and our loved ones.

Last I saw I do that very well.

I lock my doors.

Why tempt the weak? Why make it easy for the devil to get into someone's life?

There are many who are not hard core criminals but have weaknesses they will give in to if you "tempt" them. I have often heard of theft and vandalism in cars at night where the only cars broken into were the ones left open. I prefer to be safe, protect my property and not make it easy for the devil to do his work.

Everyone is different. My car has been broken into once in my current neighborhood. The doors were locked. They busted my window out and took my satellite radio receiver and all the change in the ashtray. I take my money and check book in the house so if the devil wants to rob me where it hurts he's going to have to step inside the house to get it.

Too much evil in the world.

No value for human life in society today.

Without knowing her story/situation I feel that there is a chance you could be wrong on this one. The car was stolen at 1:30 in the morning correct? The question is what is she doing out at 1:30am with her kid? Did she just get off of work and was picking him up from someone's house to get him home and need to run into the store quickly for some reason? What is her story? I don't want to condemn her for something without knowing why she did what she did. Either way I do think prosecuting her for anything is way too harsh.

Well, I can at least condemn her for stupidity. Should have turned the damn car off, however it'e easy for me to sit here and Monday morning quarterback. She's being punished and will feel guilt the rest of her life, more than the two pieces of garbage that killed the boy ever will.

I'll never understand the desire to punish, judge and condemn the victim. Three men committed an extremely horrible and evil and unnecesssry act but let's condemn the mother who lost her child in all of this.

I don't get it.

I have no idea why she left her kid in a running car at 1:30. She isn't the problem, the guys who killed her son are.

I would imagine most of us have done something that seems and maybe even is stupid in our lives and we are lucky nothing like this happened.

I have 7 grandkids, my number one fear is I have them, they are asleep, and I leave them in the car because I forgot. hasn't happened, but it can. As was said previously, I don't imagine any judge or jury can put her through the pain she will have the rest of her life for her actions.

They can execute those guys, if guilty, which they appear to be.

Just cause she can be charged doesn't mean she should. The guilt she'll carry the rest of her life will be enough. I have no doubt she would gladly spend her life in prison to bring her son back.

When has there ever been value on human life?? Slavery, large scale genocide, wars....it's been going on since the dawn of time.

Let's not try and make this political.

Nothing political about my post. Just saying there are many examples of people not valuing human life from the beginning of recorded history. Today's society is no different or worse.

I will disagree. I see it on a daily basis. It's worse now than 10 years ago.

You can't make an observation anymore without someone trying to discredit what's being said, no matter how true the observation is. Welcome to the new normal. SMH
