May 3, 20179 yr Curious as to how this happens? Got to be some freaky games...... Arizona is 17-11 with a +32 run difference. Colorado is 16-11 with a -10 run difference. Dodgers are 15-13 with a +27 run difference. Baltimore is 16-9 with a +1 run difference. Yankees are 16-9 with a +43 run difference.
May 4, 20179 yr Those stats prove to me once again that it is a long season. Twenty-five games are not a big enough sample of stats to tell us the true picture about players or teams.
May 4, 20179 yr Last night we had a 12-13 U game, we had our first 5 hitter's hammer the ball, left runners stranded on 2nd and 3rd. Wouldn't you know in the bottom of the inning we walked lead off that steals second and third, scores on wild pitch. Baseball can be that way sometimes...One team knocks the cover off the ball and can not score while the other doesn't hit it all and does score
May 4, 20179 yr It only takes a couple blowouts to really skew those numbers this early in the season.
May 4, 20179 yr This reminds me of the old saying "Stats are like a bikini, They show a lot, but sure don't show everything."
