April 26, 20179 yr I think you're way overstating the reality of things to support your argument that they should all leave. Just my opinion of course. So you're of the opinion that many of those who are leaving early won't play professionally? That's what you're going with? I get it. You love college and think everyone should stay there as long as possible. That's cool. I'd be willing to bet 18-20 year old you would've taken the money and ran if given the opportunity that these guys have. Not everyone loves college.

Some of those guys are going to be making less than $30,000 a year. My point is, college basketball is a one time deal. Some of these kids should enjoy their one time and take their shot at the real world after that. And some of the players who have entered the draft are downright delusional.

And they are going to be making $0 a year in college. College isn't as great for everyone as it is for some.
April 26, 20179 yr And they are going to be making $0 a year in college. College isn't as great for everyone as it is for some. Some of them will be car or insurance salesmen in 3 years either way.
April 26, 20179 yr Some of them will be car or insurance salesmen in 3 years either way. So why not make money playing ball while they still can??? I'm sorry, i just don't see your point.
April 26, 20179 yr So why not make money playing ball while they still can??? I'm sorry, i just don't see your point. It's cool. I don't expect you to. We both have opinions and they differ. No worries.
April 26, 20179 yr Some of them will be car or insurance salesmen in 3 years either way. Which is even more reason to go pro. :lol2: $90k after three years professionally or $0 after three years in college. Hmm.

April 26, 20179 yr Money is great. Time is priceless. Not everyone thinks college is the greatest thing in the world....
April 26, 20179 yr Not everyone thinks college is the greatest thing in the world.... Not everyone thinks the real world is the greatest thing ever, either. My advice to most would be enjoy your youth while you can.
April 26, 20179 yr Not everyone thinks the real world is the greatest thing ever, either. My advice to most would be enjoy your youth while you can. Very true. That's why my advice would be to do what makes you happy and what you think is in your best interest. Not what others think you should do.
April 26, 20179 yr Not everyone thinks the real world is the greatest thing ever, either. My advice to most would be enjoy your youth while you can. Isn't that what they are doing by going pro? What would they be enjoying in college, the co-eds? They are going to be able to do that wherever they go probably.
April 26, 20179 yr As my dad used to say. "If it wasn't for the NBA we would have the worlds tallest garbage men."
April 26, 20179 yr Nba/NCAA needs to change the rule , no testing the waters , you either get in or get out .
April 26, 20179 yr Nba/NCAA needs to change the rule , no testing the waters , you either get in or get out . What does allowing players to go through the process hurt from either side?
