Was anyone else disappointed that the KHSAA did not do more to commemorate the playing of the 100th State Tournament?

 

I thought it would've been a great idea to have t-shirts that listed the past 99 Champions. But yes, I do agree with you.

I wasn't there, so I can't really say one way or the other...but from what I observed, there was a MUCH bigger deal made about it by the Herald-Leader than by the KHSAA.

That would have been really cool. I know they recognized Earlington's 50th anniversary champion but I'm not sure if they made any mention of the 25th, 75th, or 100th anniversary teams (I know the 75th and 100th would likely all be dead, but they could mention them).

I didn't spend the weekend in Lexington for pageantry and history. I was there for the hoops, and the hoops delivered. Big time.

I hated how they played that same shot over and over and over at halftime of all the first round games.

 

I was hoping they would have a video slideshow of all the past winners of the tournament and their picture or something like that.

I was not there to see a video either... I will have to say it was pretty cool and I am betting that most of the players would agree.
