How about that Carroll County Panther defense?

Featured Replies

Carroll County's defense is a power house. Seth Hill #55 had 5.5 sacks against the Henry County Wildcats. Another star defenseive player is J.B Goecke #44. During the Henry County game he got to the quarterback two times in a row. His first sack he had was a realy hard hit, but thats not all. He also got to him again which was another hard hit and caused a fumble and was recovered by the Panthers. Good job to the Panthers.

Coach JP Dale is doing a fine job again this year.

Why don't you wait until they play somebody before their D a "powerhouse".

I'm glad that Carroll's defense has been solid, but I'll agree with some others: they have to play some people first. Wins over Caverna and a down Henry County club, plus close losses to offensively inept schools like Gallatin County, Ludlow and Scott do not make a defense great.

Lets save the measuring sticks until after the Danville and Frankfort games, and for that matter, maybe not until after Trimble County.

Well since Henry County is 2A I think we domanatied there offense with our "power house" defense. And also Scott is a 4A school with very talanted running backs and those players did not do very well aganst our "power house" defense.

Do it against Danville and we will concede that nickname,

 That "power house" defense as you call them didn't do anything to beat Ludlow who was starting a QB who never taken a varsity snap in his life. From what I saw I think you are talking about the wrong Panthers defense because the Ludlow Panthers defense held your teams offense to less points than Carrolls power house defense...:sssh:

By the way welcome to the site, but in the future you might not want to go off saying they have a powerhouse defense when they dont. At best they are just a good defense, and you should keep it at that. Because a powerhouse defense would have Carroll undefeated right now...

Dude, Henry County scored a whole 7 points against Eminence.....the same Eminence team that held the offensive juggernaut Trimble County to a mere 62 points.....and you are touting Carroll Co.'s D as a powerhouse for holding Henry Co. to 6 points? Please.

Hmmm thats funny since the officals in that game were so terrible that we couldnt have two plays without a flag thrown thats why we lost. If there were real officals than I can beat you the final score would have been about the C-town Henry County game if not more. Also we would be undefeated right now but because of injuiries it put a damper it the first three games.

Henry County scored against our JV team with there varsity players in.

Didn't Carroll lose to a Gallatin Co. team who is fielding their 1st varsity team this season? Thats not good.

A couple of years ago when Carroll County came to Russell they got steam rolled by Russell. I expect much would be the same this year if they played some comp like Russell, Danville, Beechwood etc.

That was back in 2002 in the playoffs and the final score was 47-0.

That's right Gallatin went into the big CC and beat the Panthers in their first Varsity game ever.

 This is coming from a guy whos team lost to Gallatin County who are in their very first varsity season ever.

Do you not expect officials to throw flags with the way Carroll County plays. They are very undisciplined. I mean do you think any other ref wouldn't throw a flag when the play is over and one of the Carroll County players in the Ludlow game came running at a Ludlow player and taken a swing at him and then grabbing his facemask and trying to rip his helmet off. Yeah there were alot of flags that game, but many of the were personal fouls on Carroll which any refs would throw when a team plays cheap.

If Carroll had such a powerhouse defense they would have never lost a game, and would never have gave up any points. Yeah maybe they might have a good defense but it is by far from a powerhouse defense. I know you are new on this site, but you might want to quit now with this powerhouse stuff because you are already killing your credibility on here...
