True, I don't know anyone that isn't rooting for them to win tonight and hoping they don't have to play UK, UL or any other local school.

It's an awesome story, I'm for sure going to be tuned in tonight.

Go Norse! I'll be leaving a Math&Physics Club get-together early tonight so I can check out the game.

Knowing the team like I do, I think if they could get in they would LOVE to play a big dog like UK, Duke, Louisville. Let's be honest, they have no realistic chance to win their first game as a possible 15 seed. So why not go big. Who wants to lose to Gonzaga, or some other high seed without the big name. Brink them on, I'm sure NKU would play loose with nothing to lose.

Put me in the school of wanting to play UK, UL, Duke, Cincy, or X. As a 15 seed, I think the Norse can play loose and relish the big stage. Not that they need it, playing these big dogs legitimizes all their accomplishments creating a lifetime of memories.

I'm with you, I want to see them play UK or UL. Problem is after watching them last night, they could easily lose by 50. They looked horrible last night

Are you sure? That Math and Physics Club get-together sounds like an exciting time.

Last night was 1st time playing with a "win or go home gun" to their heads. A 2 seed should beat a 15 seed by 20+. If Norse play UK or UL, this team (especially Homegrowns) will create NCAA memories for a lifetime. Nothing to lose, so let's enjoy leaving it all on the floor.

Last night was the 3rd game they had a "win or go home game". Sunday was the first and Monday was the second.

True observation. But, felt the Championship game wasn't being played with "house money". NCAA against UK or UL will be all "house money". Don't forget Morehead upsetting UL a few years ago with all "house money".

Definitely true, but Kenneth Faried was a special talent that NKU doesn't have the luxury of having. Don't get me wrong, I'll be fully cheering for them to pull the upset. Just gonna be a mountain of a hill to climb.

I have no desire to see NKU play UK. I want to be able to cheer for the Norse to win their opening game. Over 90% of the Commonwealth will be wanting them to lose.

100% true. But, there is a freeing of the mind, body, and emotions that happens when a team has a "David vs Goliath" opportunity that no one expects them to be even competitive. Bring on the Big Boys, and we'll take our shot. Win or lose, what a memory!

Yep! But, only by 1 point on a buzzer beater against UK. Against UL, the mix becomes 90% of state for Norse. Can you imagine those memories? What a program building opp!
