Saw that team play in Frankfort that year in an early season tourney and they got destroyed by shelby county (I think). Saw them 3 months later cut down the nets at Rupp, in what was the largest crowd to see a high school game at that time. I think that the coach was Larry Miller (correct me if Im wrong) I think he may have had some ties to the Frankfort area in the coaching circles.

Student tix + bus ride for Nelson Co. kids for Wednesday's game for $11. It's been since 1990 for that school, so I anticipate they'll have a big crowd. The NC boys have never been to the Sweet 16.

Sacred Heart bringing up students on buses for $15 including ticket and excused absence. I think they will have big numbers for the noon game on Wednesday.

 

That's awesome and I would guess Butler will do the same. Might be State Championship game!

They need to win it first. And they had police escort and big welcoming party after they won the 8th region Saturday night. SK knows they need to win it all then celebrate they are focoused. SK all the way!

That makes me very sad for those girls and all students! How could you not jump up and support this and it's not that far away!

Holmes is having a send off party in Covington Wednesday, even though they are only going about 8 miles or so, it's still nice for the young ladies.

All the Boys and Girls Sweet 16 games are being broadcast at the NFHS Network website.

 

You can sign up for a one month package right now for $9.95 (usually $15) but you have to remember to cancel automatic repay before next month or the site will charge your credit card month after month until you tell them to stop.

 

I have no idea how long the $9.95 deal will be offered so I thought why the heck not since I'm gonna be watching the Boys games next week for sure, and I might as well take advantage of the great deal now and watch the Girls games this week too.

 

If they happen to charge $15 next week, I'm already set for a complete month at the discounted price of $9.95. Sounds like a great deal to me as that's 30 total state tourney games for just about $10.

Had Murray brought anybody, anyone at all, for the late game in the early session there might have been some faces on the KHSAA staff smiling huge (that is, even more so than usual). Nelson Co. had a big crowd there.

 

Hope Murray people show out on Friday. They have a really nice team and should support them. Why no students, or anybody, there today? I get that it's a long haul from Calloway Co., but it's still the state tournament.
