Allan Houston and Brandon Bender are somehwere celebrating tonight, along with the rest of the state as arguably the best team goes down. This just opened up the tournament. Probably none happier than Fern Creek as this opens up their path considerably.

Game was tied at halftime. Impressive second half for the Bruins. Another disappointing end to the season for Trinity.

I am never shocked when Ballard wins. I know that region is really strong but they have so much talent year in year out

Congrats to the Ballard players, coaches, and fans! Seems like it was a low scoring game for the two thoroughbreds.

If I remember correctly from the C-J article, Coach Renner said it was the best defense any team of his has ever played. That's some pretty good D. Good luck to the Bruins-----should be an interesting matchup vs. Christian Academy on Monday for championship.

This will be round 3 for Ballard and Christian Academy this year. Ballard won round 1 (88-47 in Dec) & round 2 (73-58 in 28th District Championship).

It actually will be round four, as they also played on January 11 in the LIT. Ballard won that one 69-61.
