February 27, 20179 yr I can not believe a blunder like messing up Best Picture Anyway, I love watching the Academy Awards. I thought Kimmel was great (especially the Damon fued stuff).

February 27, 20179 yr Serious question....does Vegas book bets on Academy Awards? I've heard it was at least two minutes before the correction occurred. I could easily see a bettor standing at a window in Vegas and putting their ticket on the counter as soon as the "winner" was announced, collecting their cash. And I could also see a bettor tearing up a "losing" ticket.

February 27, 20179 yr So they make envelopes with the wrong winner on it? Beatty said afterward that what his envelope said was "Emma Stone La La Land". It was a best actress envelope, not a best picture envelope.
