February 25, 20179 yr Exactly my point. And I am not a liberal. I have praised Trump where he earned it and will do so again without hesitation. I am not anti Trump but I am not giving him a blind pass when he throws his baloney out there for all the Trump loyalists to gobble up.The fact that you cannot admit the obvious media bias against Trump without demanding that people repost links to the many examples of bias that have already been provided demonstrates your own feelings about Trump, which are very obvious to most of us. I made my best case against Trump during the primaries but my candidate lost. Fox News was so in the tank for Trump during the primaries that I turned to CNN for coverage and CNN did a much better job reporting on the Republican nomination process than Fox did, IMO. However, just as I expected - as soon as Trump was nominated to run against Hillary, the coverage of Trump went from fairly neutral to heavily biased. Anybody should be able to recognize such obvious media bias. I am ambivalent toward Trump and until a few days before the election, I was strongly considering casting my vote for a third party candidate. Still, the media bias against Trump during the general election campaign, which has continued through today has been staggering, even for one who strongly opposed Trump's nomination. I suspect that people like the Clintons and Trumps enjoy a good laugh at average Americans' expense whenever they gather for social events. Most professional politicians and the people who finance them remind me of the old Ralph E. Wolf and Sam Sheepdog cartoons. They put on a show for the public to convince us that we are choosing between real alternatives, but at the end of the workday they move in the same social circles. I don't like being played for a fool and it amazes me to see how many people treat politics like a team sport. Edited February 25, 20179 yr by Dino Nova
February 25, 20179 yr Author Media bias is much different than liars. CNN is biased against Trump but, they still present the Trump side of the story. MSNBC is much more biased against Trump. Fox is biased toward Trump. NBC, CBS, ABC are all reporting stories without bias. Most newspapers are reporting stories close to the middle with minimal bias. Talk radio is biased in favor of Trump. But bias isn't the subject of this thread. I am looking for documentation of media lies.

If you were really looking for documentation of media lies, then you would be finding them and posting them yourself. It is not rocket science. Bias is worse than outright media lies because it largely goes unnoticed by average viewers and readers. The repeated use of misleading phrases like "Russians hacked election" had many people assuming that Russia hacked into voting machines. The choice to use such misleading phrases was not a careless mistake by the media. It was a deliberate effort to spread disinformation among American voters. Your contention that ABC, CBS, and NBC are politically unbiased is laughable.
February 25, 20179 yr Author You are asking me to prove something that I doubt exists other than an isolated example. Let the liar believers post it and prove their point.

February 26, 20179 yr Forbes Welcome I'll bite. Excellent example of fake news followed by a feeble attempt to belatedly correct the record. With all of the coverage of Hillary Clinton's illegal use of a personal server to store classified information, i do not recall seeing a single story that featured stories of what happens when non-politically connected federal employees or contractors intentionally take classified documents off of the federal government's secure network and place them onto a flash drive, unsecure government network, or onto a home computer or server. Nor did I see any coverage of what it costs the federal government to scrub classified information that spills onto a nonsecure network, personal computer, or server. As somebody who has occasionally been tangentially involved in dealing with spillage incidents, media coverage of Hillary Clinton's use of a private server was extremely misleading and dishonest by the omission of important facts.
February 26, 20179 yr Trump peed on a bed or something in Russia where Obamas slept. That's a lie. How do we know that's a lie? How do we know the Vox story was a lie?
February 26, 20179 yr Two pages...still waiting to see the links supporting the lies. You obviously didn't read post #3 then.
February 26, 20179 yr How do we know any of this stuff is a lie or the truth? Think about it. Look at what we have become. Either side can say the same about any article.
February 26, 20179 yr How do we know that's a lie? How do we know the Vox story was a lie? Are you serious?
