February 25, 20179 yr Since Trump directs his ire toward (among others I can't remember off hand) the New York Times, the Washington Post, and (gulp) CNN, why don't we link to their allegedly false and/or deceptively scewed stories. We'll exclude opinion pages and CNN's mindless debate "panels" and stick to their hard news stories. I think that will at least keep us on the same page here.

And these aren’t the best and the finest. When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime; they’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.” That’s a far cry from “All Mexicans are rapists,” or “All immigrants are killers”. But, that didn’t stop the liars in the news media from deceiving the American public about what Trump said. CNN’s Brook Baldwin actually reported: “Donald Trump called all Mexicans rapists and killers” following up by calling his remarks “Anti-Mexican” and that Trump “called all immigrants killers”. It was simply an outright lie. But Baldwin was not alone. Every news outlet followed by repeating the lie … over and over again in the hopes that stupid people will be outraged. They succeeded.

I see paraphrasing. If the word "all" was used it is a Trump like exagerration but not something that makes me say the media created a lie. Trump said something very similar to what the CNN reporter said.

Honestly, what has happened so far in this thread is what I thought likely to happen. The media is called liars but where are the lies? If it was so rampant, there should be plenty of links. We will give FTN time to find this thread and post. He has posted 200 links in the past few months. Surely he will find one or two or maybe 15 that are lies.

You are simply asking people to waste time posting links that have, in many cases, already been posted in other threads. I would be more inclined to do so if the source of much of the misleading information posted in this forum did not refuse to provide links when I request them. Nobody should have to request that a person who starts a thread support his position. Media bias has been debated in many threads. Nobody owes you a synopsis of those threads with links, IMO.

And I am not a liberal. I have praised Trump where he earned it and will do so again without hesitation. I am not anti Trump but I am not giving him a blind pass when he throws his baloney out there for all the Trump loyalists to gobble up. I have praised and supported Trump much more than you have praised and supported Obama.
