February 23, 20179 yr Obviously the NCAA does not care that they are two-faced, inconsistent, afraid of certain schools etc. We have known this for decades. If paying for recruits to have intercourse with ladies of the night and hiring strippers, doesnt do it and having decades of athletes taking completely made up classes how is Ole Miss' case any worse? I forgot, Pitino denied then fired an "assistant", Ole Roy said in his most sincere Carolina drawl "We didnt do anything technically illegal" and all is forgiven. Total joke

February 23, 20179 yr Sounds like the NCAA used recruits from other SEC schools to get the info, offering them immunity, ala UL hoops scandal. It will get interesting if people speak out against the school/recruits that talked.
February 24, 20179 yr The self imposed penalties won't cut it. 13 allocations including lack of control. My Rebs will pay dearly. I got a email from the school with a 21 minute video explanation from the chancellor, AD and Hugh Freeze. I assume I got that email because I have a kid enrolled. At least we are still the best tailgate school so all is not lost

Total joke Can't really argue with that. UNCs scandal and the lack of handling it is ridiculous. Ole Miss is in a lot of trouble. They've earned their penalties but it's going to be hard for them to not be envious of Louisville and UNC.

If anything the football team being good took away from that experience because people had to start paying attention to the games. :walk:
