February 21, 20179 yr If I remember correctly , I'm pretty sure Chris Wallace defended Obama, saying that , while the President criticized FOX News, he didn't say that FOX was an "enemy of the people." But that doesn't mean that MSNBC, CNN, ABC, NBC, AP are not enemies of the people. The misrepresentation of information dissemination in our current news state is way out of bounds and has been for some time..... The press, as a general rule, cannot be trusted....all of them. Fox News is suspect at times....

The misrepresentation of information dissemination in our current news state is way out of bounds and has been for some time..... The press, as a general rule, cannot be trusted....all of them. Fox News is suspect at times.... Why do you think that is? Why are they such an enemy of us ?
February 21, 20179 yr I agree that the media in the past has determined the outcome of some presidential elections. I understand that the national and world wide economy took a dip toward the last part of the 1992 presidential race, but I always have thought that the media was extremely slanted against Bush throughout that election. They seem to nearly always paint Clinton in glowing ways but put a darker and bleak image toward Bush.
February 21, 20179 yr Why do you think that is? Why are they such an enemy of us ? Why an enemy. They tried to rig the election for Hillary by giving her questions. That goes against what a free and unbiased media is supposed to stand for. Has the news media except for Fox even reported anything good about the jobs Trump is gettting or how well Wall Street is doing now? People are tired of the constant bashing and slanted view.
February 21, 20179 yr Why do you think that is? Why are they such an enemy of us ? Because they inaccurately represent truth v non-truth. There is no objectivity in reporting..... The intentional misleading of the American people as it relates to delivery of information, in order to serve an agenda, is akin to mass brainwashing. The current presentation of the news by the press is being used a method of thought control...it is driving a small minority agenda as a primary concern and that's just not factual. Fact: a democratically elected President is in place and just because some don't like the fact that he 1) won and 2) is changing the way we do business does not give the press the right to perpetually antagonize and attack the process.
February 21, 20179 yr .....as a side note: Not one person should ever attempt to discredit any other person because of their education or lack thereof..... Any fool can get a college degree, but it takes a special kind of person to build their life on the education they get from the public education system.
February 21, 20179 yr Misinterpreted. I can't understand how I misinterpreted your post. So Sin is a result of Liberal thinking and policies? That's what you were really saying? No, that's not it. Sin is a people problem. ( although libs seem to embrace it ) When I listed the problems I included out of wedlock births but did not mean that was limited to urban areas. But as a symptom to liberal evolution. Before liberalism took a foothold in this country the number were way, way lower.
February 21, 20179 yr Yet many states that are highly religious and conservative such as Mississippi, Texas and even Kentucky, have among the highest rates of teen pregnancy. If your following the word you don't get pregnant out of wedlock, those who get pregnant out of wedlock obviously are not following the word.

Before liberalism took a foothold in this country the number were way, way lower. I understand your point. I thank you for clarifying it. I would say that while your observations might be correct let me throw a liberal wrench out there. It was the liberal movement that brought workers rights, and ended Jim Crow. While out of wedlock births were probably lower; still the schools, transportation and the public were segregated without some liberals who refused to accept it the way it was. I would even add that some BGP members would be "illegally" married right now.

The democrats are now mostly liberal. While is was considered a progressive thought and action to end it, it was done so by the republicans, who are mainly conservatives. | National Review Jim crow

While is was considered a progressive thought and action to end it, it was done so by the republicans, who are mainly conservatives. You need to realize that history is not a straight line. What were Republican today were Democrats, often called Dixiecrats. Look up Strom Thurmond as most prominent. It was the Democratic Convention in 1964 that created scism between Southern Dems like Wallace and Northern ones like Hubert Humphrey. Study the times as they occurred and not as today's parties are yesterday's parties.
February 21, 20179 yr Today's Rs and Ds ain't our granddaddies', that's for sure. that's a lie that dems say to distance themselves from the parties past.
February 21, 20179 yr that's a lie that dems say to distance themselves from the parties past. No, that's the absolute truth. I've been around long enough to know.
