Now you're talking !!!!! That was my entertainment on the weekends growing up . Joe Leduc was some kind of scary.

January 31, 20179 yr Author This guy("The Mongolian Stomper") was a physical specimen. Apparently he rode his bike almost everywhere he went, sometimes as far as 60 miles a day. No wonder his legs were like tree trunks. I saw him wrestle live when he made his way around SE KY in the seventies. BTW, after his wrestling career was over he worked as a deputy sheriff around Knoxville for several years.

February 1, 20179 yr The original Four Horsemen Road Warriors Nikita Koloff Sweet Ebony Diamond Paul Orndorf Flair - the greatest Not sure if it goes back more or less than 25 years but any combo of matches between Funk, Kevin Sullivan and Chris Benoit were the most physical and fun to watch. Swore they hated each other. Went into the stands, the rafters, bathrooms, etc...
February 1, 20179 yr Author Watched these two go at it at the National Guard Armory, then I sadly watched as they got in the same Lincoln and left together. Loved the old National Guard Armory shows!!! Saw a little old lady get mad at a match between Jimmy Golden and the Stomper. The Stomper was stomping a mudhole in Jimmy and granny didn't like it. She got to the edge of the ring with purse in hand in an attempt to dish out some mamaw mayhem at the Stomper's expense before being halted by security.

Loved the 4 Horsemen (w/o Barry Windham, can't stand him) Met the Road Warriors about 5:30 a.m. in the Memphis airport...cool guys. Yes, FLAIR is the GOAT!!!
February 2, 20179 yr When I was a student at UK we saw some matches one night at (I'm pretty sure) Lexington Catholic gym. One of the villains was Tojo Yamamoto. All the blue- and white-haired ladies had miniature American flags to wave...........(Nobody called them racists in those days.)
February 2, 20179 yr I was born in 87' so I kind of grew up in the golden days of WWF and WCW. As a kid some of my favorites were... Ricky the Dragon Steamboat Ravishing Rick Rude The Rockers (Shawn Michaels and Marty Janetti) DDP Ric Flair and my all time favorite...."Sting!!!!!" In my later childhood years I was enamored with the Attitude era guys in WWF and loved Stone Cold, DX, the Rock, etc.

I can remember a TV taping once where he threatened to beat up Lance Russell(the announcer) and dropped a four letter word on the air.
