Ludlow 19 Bellevue 14

Featured Replies

I dont think anyone has mentioned this yet, but the QB for Ludlow Jarrett Rouse had an unbelievable game. He throw a 68 touchdown pass on the first play of the game. He ended up throwing for 204 yards with a td, and also rushed for 118 yards. Jarrett Rouse is on his way to being another great QB for Ludlow!!!

I think you have diahreah of the mouth Futurecoach.....you need to shorten your dissertations. If we didnt know it......it sounds like Ludlow will be the next state champs in Class A. I think you better come down to reality and remember that the road to the State Championship goes through NCC/Beechwood and you can hang your hat on moral victories over Bellevue all you want. With what Bellevue had returning, not much.... I am surprised it wasnt a much wider margin.

I will stand by my statement that they escaped with victory because they did... plain and simple. The goaline stand was their savior or else its a Tigers victory. You can run up all the yards you want and it doesnt mean anything if you don't get the W. I said Congrats to the Panthers as they deserved to win the ballgame.

This game should have been Bellevue 20-Ludlow 19... I caught the last quarter and a half and after a great scoop of a fumble by Ross (if he had Lincoln Adams wheels he would have been gone) the Tigers just manhandled the Panthers on their way to a sustained 65 yrd drive. ONly problem, they couldnt punch it in with 4 plays inside of 8 yrds.

Congrats to the Panthers for their goal line stand, you can thank the Bellevue coaching staff for running the same freakin play 3 times in a row for that. Ludlow stacked 11 guys in the box and I can see running a couple of up the gut attempts but on 3rd down and 3 from the goal line, that would have been a perfect time to run a bootleg or sweep to get to the pylon. Bellevue's QB is athletic enough and fast enough to get their if he gives a good fake.

I saw limited action so I cant speak to how Ludlow supposedly dominated the whole game but I can say they are very lucky to escape with a victory.

Very impressive fireworks show after the game to cap off the stadium ceremony...I am sure they werent celebrated the loss.

With all due respect gryche11 but only watching a Qtr and a half really doesn't tell the tale of this game at all. Ludlow dominated this game both on the ground and thru the air and the final stats tell the tale. To Bellevues credit they did have a chance to score because of a late Panther fumble as they were driving down the field and didn't get it in because of a great goal line stand by the Panthers. The Panthers also had 3 opportunities inside the 10 yd line that they weren't able to turn into points.

Sitting up near the top where there were some coaches from Beechwood, Holy Cross and Dayton scouting both teams and they all agreed that Ludlow was clearly the better team and should have won this contest going away.. To Bellevues credit the Panthers did not but it was a great win for the Panthers and one they clearly deserved. Anyone that saw the entire game would definitely realize that.

Well first of all did I once say anything about Ludlow being able to beat Beechwood or NCC...Yes we heard all year long and in the prediction threads that Bellevues coaches would be the reason why they win, and some people even suggested that since Bellevue made the playoffs last year that they would be more prepared for a big game like this. So yeah Im pretty happy to be able to have Ludlow win and show that all of what everyone said was not right.

So you say Bellevue lost everyone and Ludlow should have won by a wider margin, but you said this in the prediction thread.

I like Bellevue in a close game 20-14. Home Field and the adrenaline will be on the Tigers side.

But after Bellevue loses now you start to backtrack huh? :sssh:

Yeah Ludlow had to make a play at the end to pull this game out, but if you want to keep bring that up and saying Ludlow was lucky because they stopped Bellevue on the goal line. Then you also will have to accept that Bellevue was lucky to even be in this game because Ludlow 4 times got stopped at the goal line. So you cant keep bringing up Ludlow was lucky, when Bellevue was lucky to even have that chance at the end to win it...

Great job Coach Borchers and the Panthers. Huge win for the playoff picture.

futurcoach you act like this game was dominated but Bellevue could of won this game just as easy as ludlow did. Also you talked about coach Eckstein like he was not a good coach well sorry to tell you if your going to be a futurcoach someday you wont be half the coach he is.

O and also you better hope bellevue never beats ludlow again because WHEN we do im going to write 6 pages about how ludlow is nothing and how bellevue is going to take on the super bowl champs and crush them.

Dont worry BHS tiger because Bellevue wont beat Ludlow again. Bellevue is going to be hurting for the next couple of years..

Congratulations to the Panthers on a hard fought victory over the Tigers. I do think the game was closer than it should've been as the Panthers should've either got in the end zone or settled for a couple field goals when they were deep in Tiger territory. Credit to both teams as they BOTH laid everything on the line!!

BHS Tiger, Calm down. Dont take things personally. People are entitled to their opinion. BTW, watch out for capitalization. You dont want to get suspended now do you?! :D

As long as they dont lose 30 games in a row ill be fine.

Well BHS Tiger I hope you never lose 30 games in a row either. But trust me you would survive it. We did, and we're a better program now. Hopefully we will continue to get better and may the hard fought games between the Panthers and Tigers continue. Good luck to you all the rest of the year.

As long as they dont lose 30 games in a row ill be fine.

In years past the Tigers have pretty much shut it down after a loss to the Panthers. Here's hoping they don't do near the amount of  ing as some of their fans and are able to come back from this defeat and have a respectable year..Face it Bellevue fans nothing gets your goat more then a loss to Ludlow and for the 3rd time in 4 years you have had to make excuses. Maybe the next time you decide to have a week long celebration and festivities you might consider scheduling a team you are sure to beat.:p

As for Coach Eckstein I'm sure he is a fine coach but he has been portrayed as some sort of football genius and I agree he has done OK where he has been but exactly what has he done to garner such a tremendous amount of accolades from everyone.. I mean he walked into a goldmine last year and he is to be commended but I'm not so sure most coaches could not have coached that talented group.

You know what you must not have not watched this game if you dont think Ludlow didn't dominate this game. Did you not see Ludlow march up an down the field all night long against Bellevue. Did you not see Ludlow's defense shut down Bellevue's offense after Bellevue scored their 14 points.

Now once again where did I say anything about Ludlow beating NCC or Beechwood and winning the state championship. The only thing I talked about was this game. Your fellow Bellevue fan brought this thing all up by saying Ludlow was lucky to win this game, while the fact was Bellevue was LUCKY to even have that chance at the end of the game to win. And if you couldn't tell that Ludlow dominated this game then I dont know what game you were watching.

So you started the personal attack saying that I could never be a good coach. Well my friend you need to learn how to read. Because in my post I never said Eckstein was a bad coach, I said he was a very coach. Actually I said he was a great coach, and just that we have a great coach at Ludlow as well. You talk about us saying alot of stuff since Ludlow won, well this is the crap we had to put up with all year long from Bellevue fans. So it sucks when the shoe is on the other foot doesnt it? We heard all year that since Bellevue had ONE good year that they are the 3rd best football program around, that when it comes to coaching they are way better. Before this game everyone was saying how if it comes down to coaching that Bellevue would win. Well I just wanted to point out that Ludlow's coach outcoached Eckstein this game, and I bet you he would even admit that. That does not mean Eckstein is not a great coach because he is, but we at Ludlow also have a great coach here too, and well now we have shown it.

I know you are a new member I guess since you dont have many post, but dont come on here saying stuff like this, when the Bellevue fans did the same thing last year...

 :thumb: I must admit though it was really nice to be able to watch Ludlow win that game and then have a fireworks show after it to celebrate Ludlows win!!! :D
