Really sad for the future of our country .

Why and what do they think is going to happen to them specifically, this POTUS is here for law and order for all. They lost because they used white consultants? If this is what they got from HRC's defeat, then they are a lost party. They don't even intend to converse with the white members of the DNC ? Sad. HRC got beat because she did not have a clue about the pain hard working Americans were feeling. And never understood her private unsecured server was illegal and the missing emails. Read every word twice.

Man there's a lot of defensiveness here and I can't figure out why. I mean, I'm white and I have no problem saying that it's incredible. Wouldn't have it any other way. We're number one. What's everybody so upset about?

What I just watched was a group suggesting that a more diversified group of consultants could help the DNC reach the broader constituencies it desperately wants and that the lily-white, Ivy-league-educated, traditional consulting groups that work with the DNC may not be ideal going forward. Can't say I disagree. I thought you guys hated exactly the kind of party elites she's talking about here.

I don't care if they marginalize their white consultants, I just think they are coming to the wrong conclusions about why and how HRC lost. She did not listen to middle america and struggling families. Wages have stagnated at 1999 levels.

Which is why I asked if the video was watched or just the headline read. She was talking about democrats the whole video. I've never seen them take up for democrats before. I wanted to make sure they knew what they were doing when they chastised the video.

Did you watch the clip or just read the headline?

I read some of it. I took it as white people need to shut up because we (they) me, dont understand how the others of colors feel or think.

Which I think is total bullcrap.

Actually she said she would say shut up when white people interrupt others when talking or get defensive and say they aren't prejudiced and then refuse to listen to the whole conversation.

I also thought she was talking about democrats. That's how I took it.

You guys say it and watch it every day on these threads. The key to this whole thing is not to be derogatory to one group or another. The minute you use these "escalator" words you turn off the very group you are trying to reach leaving nothing accomplished but people further diffing in their heals.

To me this video is very dividing not welcoming. Why? Your attacking or demeaning one group. Regardless of who they are.

Unlike this lady, they need a leader that is a uniter not a divider.

I do find it interesting that when Dr. Carson, or David Clarke, Jr or Clarence Weaver(all black people) say the exact same things about black people you guys are quick to post their videos and articles in joy that you found a black person who "speaks their mind" but yet when Sally Boynton Brown does the exact same thing you guys get offended.

You can't have it both ways.

This would be unbelievable if it wasn't so commonplace. Woman says the DNC needs to have more diverse voices in a position to advise the leaders of the national party and there are posters acting like she's up there screaming she's ready to run some crackers off the block. Everything is going to be ok.

I find the following hard to believe and in that I mean, really, how or why can someone feel that scared. I mean do they think Trump is going to start ordering mass executions of blacks?

Another candidate said black Americans are now living with “justified fear” of being killed after Donald Trump was elected president.

Raymond Buckley, the chairman for the New Hampshire Democratic Party, told a story about how, in the midst of “grieving” on Election Day, he received a call from his black niece, who feared for her life after Trump’s victory.

“It’s not just certain parts of the country,” he said. “That fear is all across the country.

Now I find this really stupid. If Trump asked them to help him rebuild an inner city where they live and how he needs to do that and what resources they may need. They are basically saying screw Trump and in reality, the people they are elected to help that live where help was going to go.

Asked whether they would agree to work with President Trump, the candidates agreed they would never do so, which drew some applause from the otherwise quiet crowd at George Washington University.

When Candidate Trump stood on that stage last year and said "I am the law and order candidate," everyone knew what he meant. Because everyone knew what Richard Nixon meant. If he didn't want us to take Nixon's meaning, he shouldn't have quoted the man.

And don't get all upset about partisanship now because that ship has sailed. All these folks decided that nobody wanted to be a grownup and govern anymore. Congressional Republicans met the night Obama was inaugurated back in 2008 and agreed to oppose and obstruct his agenda at every turn. The playbook is out there and the Republicans were richly rewarded for their methods at the midterms.

Maybe I'm just stupid, but I have no clue what you're talking about.
