January 13, 20179 yr Here is the scenario. I had to thoroughly clean our gym floor the other day, so I decided to turn on the walking app on my phone and see I far I walked while doing so. High school sized gym floor and cleaned on average about 2 feet past the boundary lines. I swept the floor with a dust mop then scrubbed it with the reachable battery electric scrubber (the kind you see being used cleaning the floor at Kroger, etc.). I scrubbed it twice, widthwise and lengthwise. Single head scrubber, I believe the brush head is 17 inches in diameter. So how far did I walk?
January 13, 20179 yr You expecting math out of these people bro ? Come on man.....it's a sports site....
January 13, 20179 yr Author about 3.5 miles... further than I thought it would be. I guess if i am short on steps during the day I guess I can always go do a good scrub on the gym floor, it can always use it.

January 13, 20179 yr If your stride is 2.5 feet (like the average male), you walked about 7600 steps.
January 14, 20179 yr Author Whatever you walked, it wasn't far enough; you're still here. Half way to the compound...be there by noon...how long will it have walked then?
