2017 Trinity opener set with Carmel Greyhounds

In the rating I found Warren Central was #2 and Carmel was #4 in 6A at the end of last year. I know Warren Central beat Cincy St. X last season.

6A 2014 Warren Central 7 Carmel 6 Final (1st year for Carmel in 6A)

6A 2015 Ben Davis 42 Carmel 24 final

6A 2016 Carmel 16 Center Grove 13 in OT final

 

From 2014 to present, Indy Cathedral has not made the state final game. In 2013 they were listed as 5A, but obviously things could have changed by now.

 

I'm always pulling for the KY teams, but can't the Indiana teams lightly.

How good was Carmel last year? Anyone know their record and how they finished in their class in Indiana?

 

6A State Champs, won their game 16-13 in OT. They had 4 regular season losses, if I remember corrected

Would've been nice to see that Cathedral game...they have 4 of the top 14 players in Indiana for '18. (1,3,9,14)

Carmel is one of the wealthiest cities in the country. Trinity parents do ok for themselves.

IHSAA moves schools up classifications with a success factor. I believe Cathedral has move up two classes to 6 A.

I only say this because Trinity won't travel anymore than 4 hours away. MANY teams have requested home and home with Trinity and Trinity has turned them down.
