What is a common food you have never tasted?

Wife makes it homemade quite often.

I love spicy food but I do not like Indian food at all. It is one of the few types of food I do not like.

 

I can't think of any common foods that I have not at least tasted. For others, how about grits? That might be a common food that a few people have not tried.

 

Gotta load 'em down with milk and butter, or gravy. Don't like them plain. Don't like hominy. Tried 'em several times.

How about beef liver? Or perhaps chicken livers? Black eyed peas or even green peas? Lima beans? Olives? Anchovies? Creamed herring? What other common foods might people have not tasted?

Are you a fan? I really enjoy it now but hated it when I was a kid. I'd get mad just knowing that pawpaw was making some.

Most seafood is on my list, I've tried a few things and hated them so I steer clear of the rest of it. I'll eat some fish, but none of that other crap that crawls along the bottom eating garbage.

 

I wouldn't want to go on without seafood. Here's a photo from our recent trip to St. Augustine. My dad at 84 still steams the best mess of hard crabs on the planet.

We had lobster at home this past Thursday (I cooked).
