The Grateful Dead

You're a Dead Head? :D

You're a Dead Head? :D

I am. Been listening to them since I was in 5th or 6th grade lol.

This is a pretty ecclectic and well informed group. I'm not even going to pretend to know more about one of my favorites bands than some that frequent bgp...:lol2:

New Edition (yes, I know they are a group and not a band, don't get judgey)

Oh no you didn't...loved me some Candy Girl back in the day! :thumb:

I didn't think about it at the time, then I realized you questioned my age once before lol. I'm slightly older than you think, encroaching on 21 these days.:lol2:

Pearl Jam

hmm...

I missed Disturbed when I was on my way to Gatlinburg at the end of April. FFDP was at Amalie Arena while RTS was here last month. We opted for showing the ladies a good time at The Columbia Restaurant.
FFDP's drummer, Jeremy Spencer, grew up just outside of Evansville in the thriving metropolis of Booneville, IN. A friend of mine when to school with him.

I guess I don't get into bands to the point of claiming to know more than anyone else. I usually will look up the history on a band if I like them but don't become obsessed to the point of being a super fan. I don't do concerts typically and don't buy anything from the band other than music. So while there are bands I probably like more than most I know I wouldn't claim to know more than anyone else.

Is this a challenge? :lol2:

I have a pretty obsessive personality. I can't just have an interest, I have to learn everything I can about it. There's so much useless information in this brain that'll do me no good in life.

I wouldn't say I'm an EXPERT, but I know a lot about The Boss.

Oh, and @Habib MAY love him more than me. But I don't think so. I just can't afford to go to his concerts. :lol2:

I suppose I could claim to love the following more than anyone on BGP:

Blondie

U2

Rod Stewart

Erasure

Rembrandts

Coldplay (except for @Randy Parker)

Enigma

Mellencamp

It helps to know people who know people. :D

You're timing was a fun coincidence because I just found out this is on its way to me today: http://i.imgur.com/r604ICt.jpg
