August 16, 20179 yr I started "The Ranger" by Ace Atkins yesterday. It's the first in a series that I think I'm going to like. It's pretty good so far.
August 22, 20179 yr Somehow I've made it through high school, college, and fourteen years of teaching school and had never read this. I'll be honest - it wasn't very good. I understand the themes and what it was going for, but it just didn't move me. Of course I'm completely disinterested in dystopian and/or science fiction type stuff. Oh well.
August 23, 20179 yr Yep, read both and have been anxiously awaiting the 3rd book. Pumped it finally has a release date! Plastered the Way of Kings yesterday. Onto Words of Radiance this week. Did you see this news? They're releasing some of the book online. I'm pumped. I loved the way the 2nd book ended.
