Florida State 33 Michigan 32

I really think this bowl game puts FSU in a great spot going into next year. I think they are the ACC favorites for sure. Francois has the potential to be in Heisman conversation if his O line can protect him. I don't know who will replace Cook, but I know the Cam Akers kid they have coming in this next class is a stud. Not sure he will start but he will definitely get some playing time as freshman. I really wanted to see him in scarlet and grey.

The one things I've noticed on here is that there is a strong number of FSU fans on here. Maybe their voices are just louder on here than others, but in my daily life I run across many more UF fans than FSU. It's weird to me that this trend doesn't carry over to BGP.

Akers and Patrick will deliver a killer 1-2 punch and Amir Rasul will get PT as well. Cooks baby better will be there in 2 years too

So now Pat Forde is creditable? Just trying to keep up.

Good question. I thought UK fans hated him.

I’m not sure if you heard, but Michigan was missing Jabrill Peppers, its star safety, against Florida State in the Orange Bowl. ESPN mentioned his name more than 50 times. It was also without Jake Butt, a really good tight end, who was hurt right before halftime.

But what ESPN didn’t seem to mention was that the best safety on either team hadn’t played since Week 2 — FSU’s Derwin James, who was lost in the Charleston Southern game.

But it was also missing starting safety Nate Andrews.

And starting safety Ermon Lane.

And starting safety Trey Marshall, who was ejected in the fourth quarter for targeting.

In the fourth quarter, three of FSU’s five defensive backs in the game were true freshmen.

Florida State was also missing arguably its best receiver in Auden Tate.

And starting guard Kareem Are could only play the 1st half before bowing out with injury.

But if you depended solely on the broadcast, you’d think FSU was the picture of health, while Michigan was a crippled team fighting valiantly.

Oh, and congrats to Dalvin Cook for winning the Orange Bowl MVP, after being “bottled up,” according to the broadcast. Cook had 207 total yards.

No anti-FSU bias though.....

None lol

This was a good game and great one to watch. This imo was a good one throughout out and then the last several minutes and with that ending ...wow !

I can't help but wonder what the Michigan players are thinking of and / or were saying to their "all about me #5 " all star now ? I have to believe if the kid would had thought enough of his team mates / coaches and school that gave him the opportunity to play, showcase his talent ...that they would have won that game. What a selfish kid  ! (btw ...I think the same about all that opted not to play.)

Loud and proud Warchant!

Peppers was out which sucked but FSU had several players out mainly at safety.

Calling a kid selfish that is hurt?

If I'm a NFL I would try and draft FSU Dlineman Walker he is a play maker. I would love to see the Steelers get him in the 1st or 2nd.

Poor Michigan. They're always getting cheated.

More evidence.

Is it true Peppers had his hamstring pulled by his agent?
