Missing CJ, against the #8 team in New Jersey and their loaded roster...seems like a very fair result.

Down 16-4 after 1. Got down 24-10 and were down 11 at half. Got it down to 3 by the end of the 3rd.

Thanks.

Nice showing by the Colonels without CJ. Hope the boys are having fun.

I found this link to the 2nd qtr of the game from someone in the stands.

Wow...St. Augustine looks tough. I can only hope that the Colonels learned something from this game because they sure looked like they were being schooled.

Just saw on Twitter that Jake Walter rec'd the Outstanding Prospect Award at the tourney. Congrats Jake!

SOPH Deere had a career high 9 points. Young guys like him, Michael Mayer, and Nick Thelen got some good run.

St. Augustine - Kennedy 6 0 17, Harbey 0 2 2, Hargis 0 4 4, Mutts 7 3 17, Solomon 1 0 2, Stoll 0 2 2, Reyes 2 0 4. Totals: 16 11 48.

CovCath - Deere 3 0 9, Vonhandorf 2 1 5, Mayer 2 0 4, Ruthsatz 4 0 10, Walter 2 3 7, Mayer 3 0 6. Totals: 16 4 41.

Halftime: A 28-17. 3-pointers: A 5 (Kennedy); C 5 (Deere 3, Ruthsatz 2).

5 pts for Cole...career low?

Where was CJ

I love watching Deere play. He is very smooth and in control on the court. Very high basketball IQ. As he gets stronger I think we will see him rise on the depth chart.

Out for a while with an injury
