After years of publicly opposing federal land management policy, Cliven Bundy will now be able to see a 300,000 acre national monument from his ranch in Nevada.

 

On Wednesday, Obama designated two national monuments. The Bears Ears National Monument covers 1.35 million acres in Utah. The second is Gold Butte National Monument; 300,000 acres near Las Vegas, Nevada.

I heard today that 88% of the land in Nevada is owned by the US Government...that is crazy...talk about your land grabs...

Awesome, I hope Obama does this more and also protects more of the arctic and ocean areas too. Especially from oil companies.

This is a STAGGERING map. So the Feds own basically 75-80% of the land west of Texas. That is incredible to me...

Actually I knew it. When the Bundy ordeal was going on I followed it close. Read all about it. The BLM are some crooked dudes.
