All I Want for Christmas is White Genocide

Ok, let's start with him first. That should make him happy.

Social media has given every idiot a voice.

On the flip-side social media has propagated many sterotypes about professions: college professors =liberal looneys, teachers = pedophiles, cops = racists, football players= wife beaters, etc.

Seriously, how can Drexel keep this guy? I would not let this idiot anywhere near my college age kids. Can you imagine the non-sense he is peddling to his students in the name of a $47,000 per year education? SMH... Drexel is private so a large portion of its revenues comes from donations. I would think some big money donors would not be happy if this guy is not shown the door.

How much self loathing must he live with being a white man who hates white men.

I bet this guy would love to sit in "The Problem with Whiteness" class being discussed in another thread.

Guy looks like he endured a lot of swirlies in his youth.

It's normally the case with self loathing white knights. The need to feel accepted.

I don't know that your references are stereotypes....they are examples of people in professions who have actually done some of the things you equated them to, so not really stereotypical.

I guess I could qualify that by saying: If we asked Ms. Rice if her husband was a wife beater, do you think she would deny the actual video of getting knocked out ?

As for college professors being liberal looneys....that's a pretty high percentage of where the left leaning rhetoric is being cultivated

There have been those who have committed these acts , but some have labeled ALL which would be a stereotype.

All players wife beaters?

how do you know? You spend a lot of time on college campuses?

"Some have been labeled ALL" does not create a stereotype, it's an observation by some and a globalization by others….but distinctions are not important here.

I don't know what your statement about "All players wife beaters?" is…Pass

Yes. I have and do spend considerable time surrounded by those that 1) frequent college campuses, 2) work on college campuses, 3) have taught or teach on college campuses and 4) I read the drivel that is published from the liberal looneys on college campuses.

I dunno either, but if you doubt that, I encourage you to research the most current published works from (pick any university in America) and then you can see for yourself.

So again you're implying all which is a stereotype. I guarantee there are college professors that are on your side of ideology. Their ideas aren't getting spewed out there by the media currently.

I am happy colleges aren't echo chambers. Wrong or right: ideologies that challenge thought are imperative to this nation.

It's not stereotyping when it's actually happening…stereotyping is applying characteristics to situations and people based on assumptions….assumptions are not factual…publications and actions are factual.

I'm not disagreeing that there are some on campuses that are not liberal, but the liberal oriented classes, of which represent a huge portion of required credits, are the breeding and nesting ground for the nonsense. That is not a stereotype, that is a fact.

Google machine tells me...

a widely held but fixed and oversimplified image or idea of a particular type of person or thing.

"the stereotype of the woman as the carer"

I have question though. Why do you think college professors are more liberal today? Why aren't conservatives entering the profession to keep the minds of our youth from being corrupted?

Their their generalized viewpoints are typically not supported by those able to dictate academic content. Let's remember who the most current administrators represent and when they attended University…..which was during the entire counterculture period. This time in our country shaped their views and beliefs, and they were accepted on the campuses…but not so much in the mainstream, hence they found a place to be accepted with like minded people. So they set up shop and now they run the company (University)

Conservative educators are out there, but the general culture of University is geared toward liberal thinking…and believe it or not, going to work on a daily basis where your views are not only not held with respect but constantly attacked does not lend oneself to staying….

Besides…all the good conservatives are out working so they can pay the taxes for the next increase at the University and keep everyone employed….
