Their their generalized viewpoints are typically not supported by those able to dictate academic content. Let's remember who the most current administrators represent and when they attended University…..which was during the entire counterculture period. This time in our country shaped their views and beliefs, and they were accepted on the campuses…but not so much in the mainstream, hence they found a place to be accepted with like minded people. So they set up shop and now they run the company (University)

 

Conservative educators are out there, but the general culture of University is geared toward liberal thinking…and believe it or not, going to work on a daily basis where your views are not only not held with respect but constantly attacked does not lend oneself to staying….

 

Besides…all the good conservatives are out working so they can pay the taxes for the next increase at the University and keep everyone employed….:banana:

 

I can see that in certain subjects like humanities, but others wouldn't bother asking ideologies and some may even be looking for conservatives.

I heard today that while the Drexel administration said they don't in any way agree with what the nut job said, they do believe he has the right to say it and will not discipline him. I wonder if he would have said "black" genocide or "homosexual" genocide or "transgender" genocide, if they would have been quite so understanding about protecting his right to free speech. Somehow I doubt it...
