IMO, liberals just used the fact that Cheney had formerly worked for Halliburton as a tool to smear him. The Bush administration was not the first administration to award contracts to Halliburton and they were not the last. The Obama administration also awarded the company's KBR subsidiary a no-bid contract worth at least $568 million in 2010, and I am sure that was not the only contract that Halliburton won under Obama. Was Obama in it for the oil too?

FDR was a socialist whose left wing economic policies prolonged the Great Depression and Dem "ideas" on the environment have driven thousands of jobs off shore and have helped to devastate our manufacturing base. FDR did a great job as a war time president, IMO, but his domestic policies were horribly misguided. However, FDR was in a desperate situation and can be excused to a certain extent for trying social experiments that we now know in hindsight did not and will not work. As for Colin Powell, nobody hung him out to dry. He had access to the same intelligence that Bush, Cheney, every member of Congress, and most of the intelligence agencies of our allies had, and he reached the same conclusions that most of them also reached.
