Final from the KOB.

Game report and box score

KING OF THE BLUEGRASS: TRINITY 66, FERN CREEK 63

Only 12 turnovers committed by the teams. Really close game statistically, too.

CovCath and Trinity will be fantastic tomorrow night.

Trinity must be pretty good. Are they still missing their point guard? I believe he is to return soon.

He's out until sometime in January------name is Jacob King.

So both teams are missing their point guard?

Fern Creek has theirs. Wales. Trinity hasn't had theirs all season.

Tough to beat a good team twice. They're 1-1 against each other. This could easily be the championship game at the LIT also.

Sorry, I was unclear, I meant CovCath and Trinity. That was my bad.

If I remember correctly Jacob King is the best player on Trinity's team so if Trinity beats a high level team like Fern Creek without him then when he gets back they are pretty daggone good.

King is good no doubt, but when he returns his minutes take somebody else off the floor and move David Johnson away from the ball. Kids are playing good and show great chemistry which an adjustment will need to occur. Szabo will get it together, but it won't be immediate from game 1. That said, he makes them better with another ball handler.

Ruthsatz is out? No wonder I haven't seen his name. That kid is noooiicce. Granted I am biased to PGs but anyone who loves basketball and watches him play will love him.
