December 17, 20169 yr With Rogue One out, now seems like a good time to rank the Star Wars movies and put Rogue One where you think it fits in the rankings.

December 17, 20169 yr Author I am one of the few that likes The Phantom Menace. The Jar Jar Binks character bothers a lot of people, and he irritates me too, but outside of that I really like the movie. I know most people consider it one of the worst Star Wars movies. Maybe it is ok for me because I like Liam Neeson. I think most everyone would agree that the Darth Maul fight scene at the end is one of the best battles in the entire series. They missed the boat on not developing Darth Maul further. This movie set the stage for the new technology in Star Wars movies. Ewan McGregor is very good as young Obi Wan. The pod race was good. It isn't a great movie. In fact it is flawed in many ways. But it is fun and it rebooted Star Wars so I like it for those reasons.

December 18, 20169 yr I want to add that I absolutely hate the added effects they've put into the original 3. The stupid creature they added to the Sarlacc is just goofy.

December 18, 20169 yr A New Hope Empire Strikes Back The Force Awakens Return of the Jedi Revenge of the Sith Rogue One Phantom Menace Attack of the Clones (I watched Attack of the Clones today. I had forgotten how much I hated it.)
December 18, 20169 yr I haven't seen Rogue One yet. But for me: Empire New Hope Force Awakens Sith Jedi Clones Phantom I honestly don't like Jedi that much. The whole opening portion with Jabba sucks. Clones is better than Phantom because of Natalie Portman.
December 18, 20169 yr Empire Strikes back is beat one made, bar none. Period Of all the things that you and I agree on, this one probably confuses me the most. :lol2:
