I am on record: this Mason team is better than last year's as a total team. Much better chemistry overall and lots of talent. Could be a 10th region championship repeat for Coach Biggs in another less than stellar year for overall 10th region team talent.

As Keith Jackson used to say - whoa Nellie! While I'd love to see it, Mason lost their PG, two 6'6" seniors, 43 ppg and their top 3 rebounders from last season. Gonna be a work in progress.

I thought Garrison had to serve a 3 or 4 game suspension?

^ I hadn't heard that one, although I'm not as close to the team as I was 8 or 10 years ago.

According to the roster in the LI's basketball insert, Jeremiah Jones. I have no idea who plays middle school, freshman or JV ball.

Agreed, Jones who transferred from Mason went in and try to block a layup from Mason and landed wrong on his leg. Looked like a knee injury. Tough break. I wish him the best!!!!!

Younger brother of sophomore Greg Jones, not sure on any relation to Wes. Jeremiah and Greg will be key components to the backcourt after Garrison and Dunaway graduate. Greg is currently sidelined due to a torn ACL a while back, should be cleared and playing by January I heard.
