For Those That Say the SCOTUS is Their Most Important Issue

Featured Replies

We do disagree, and I wasn't trying to change your mind. I was just telling you my opinion on the matter.

And to say people are "for abortion" is trying to paint the picture that we encourage abortions, which is far from the case. We simply believe women should have the choice to do so.

What's really funny is men trying to legislate what women do with their bodies.

You are for abortion if you are for allowing women to kill their unborn children. What is the difference if we allow them to kill their children minutes after they are born?

There is no difference. Killing a child is killing a child.

Because minutes after they are born they can survive on their own.

A fetus with a faint heartbeat cannot. It's not even remotely the same thing.

Sure it is. It is a child. Ever seen the ultrasound of a baby? Tell me that is not a child. Fingers, toes, eyes, ears, etc.

I have two great nephews that are now 4 years old. They were born at 22 weeks, with a faint heartbeat. They were able to survive, outside the womb, with assistance. They are now happy, healthy boys. Your argument falls apart in the face of modern medicine.

I'm not the one that will have to answer to my maker that I supported the wholesale killing of children.

As a father when I saw my kid at 5 months, well I can just say that yeah it's a human and alive.

And as for the old excuse of well the woman has to carry it and it's in her body.

She shouldn't have let me put something of mine into her body. So technically what's in her body is mine too.

Ref, I am as against abortion as anyone I know. That being said, all I have to say is "WOW!!" after reading that post...

Good Lord is right...

It ain't a one way street IMO.

Just answer this. If i get a woman pregnant is it also my kid?

If the woman can get an abortion then can a man refuse to pay child support since it's In her body and I had No say in if she actually had the baby or not?

Glad your nephews survived.

Does absolutely nothing to change my opinion.

I could POSSIBLY entertain the idea of POSSIBLE action against women who pursue an abortion after the 1st trimester, but even still, that's a long shot.

As for meeting your maker, everyone sins, and no sin is greater than another, but good try attempting to play the "holier than thou" angle. :lol2:

It's impossible to have a serious conversation with some people.

Not playing any "holier than thou" angle. I have a lot to answer for, killing children ain't one of them.

It's irrelevant what you have to answer for, the fact is we all will have something to answer for. But keep trying to throw that in our face.
