November 27, 20169 yr There's no reason this FSU steam couldn't be 11-1. They just were way to lax defensively earlier in the year. (And nothing could save them against Louisville) Still, 9-3 and now potentially getting a New Year's Six bowl would be a solid season.

November 27, 20169 yr Agreed! Anyone who truly believes UL is 40 points better than FSU(on that particular day obviously it happened)... well then Idk what to tell you. What happened to FSU against UL is what happened to UL against UH. Nothing went right and it snow balled. And sad thing is they could be 11-1 with the worst defense statistically in 10 years. Is what it is..... Orange Bowl! Alright then.

Florida State is a good football team and they were when Louisville beat them in September. Louisville had more than one opportunity to pave their own way into the playoffs and then the Orange Bowl and couldn't get it done. Wish that were different, but I can live with it. No animosity towards FSU whatsoever, they are taking what was thrown in their lap.
