The Panthers of Ludlow travel to Newport to play on the turf this friday against the Wildcats..Was wondering what everyones thoughts on this game might be..

Well BZ I think the Panthers will surprise the Wildcats this week. I'm going with my beloved boys in a tight game 21-20.

:thumb: Well my friend I certainly like the sounds of that and if the Panthers take better care of the ball then they did last week I feel they certainly have a chance to pull of a surprise. Everytime Ludlow begin to move the ball last week against Grant Cty they either fumble or had an interception that cost them dearly. Here is hoping the Panthers can put together a complete game and get back on the winning side..

I couldn't agree more. I do think we will see a much better performance from the Panthers this week.

Well hopefully Ludlows defense can keep that Newport offense quiet, because Newports offense haven't done much this year so hopefully that continues. If Ludlow cuts down on their mistakes on offense from last week they do have a legit shot in this game. I am making no predicition on this game, but I do think it should be a good game if both teams play like they are capable of...

Newport did nothing to impress anyone in the Dayton game. Only good thing for NPT was a "W". Last TD was w/22 seconds left, and a stupid mistake by Dayton got them a touchdown called back. I think the panthers can hang with 'em and heres hoping the Panthers win 20-7, cause I'm not convinced the cats are as good as some of their faithful think they are!:D

Although I thought Dayton could pull a shocker against Newport and start the season 5-0, mostly that was because if you saw the Newport/NCC game you saw that emotionally Newport was "all in" for that game. That would almost have to be followed by some sort of letdown the next week for the Dayton game. The letdown combined with an improving Dayton team made for a good game.

 

This week the Cats get back to normal and should win handily but if Ludlow doesn't turn it over they could hang around. I look for Hesch to have a huge game running the ball maybe more yards than passing it.
