I am sure they will sell at the gate, but this will be SRO if you don't get there darn early. And parking will be a bear.

Also, the best view is midway up the home side of the stands.

The caliber of this game is that of a state championship.

Sorry, but this year, any game that doesn't include Trinity isn't the caliber of a state championship. I suggest getting there early and don't sit on the visitor's side. You can't see anything from there.

I can only imagine the nightmare parking is going to be for this

Could it be that Wolford finally has put all the right pieces in place?

It's possible, consistency especially on the offensive side appears to be paying off at the right time.

Not sure if it is the "right" pieces in place, but at least the pieces have been consistent for more than one year.

Can I ask a favor? Can anyone with "shamrock", or "trinity" in their name stop bashing caliber of the game, parking, and view from the visitors side until the winner of this game plays at Marshall stadium next week? Rumor has it that Papa Johns may not be available and we can discuss inadequacies at that point. I think any time the defending state champion is still in the next tournament makes it a huge game.

I don't believe I said it wasn't a huge game. It will clearly be the top game in town. Just not championship caliber.

I am a T fan, but IMO there are only 4 teams in the state that are capable on their best day of beating T (and one of them is in 5A). Since two of them are playing each other Friday I would say it is state championship caliber. For the record I picked X. If T & X do end up meeting and PJCS is not available, that will be some serious Black Friday traffic in St. Matthews.

Also, to be as honest as I can about the stadium: Top couple of rows on the visitors side are fine, as there are only about 6 rows of seating. However, the home side is huge and if you are there early you should be able to grab a good seat. Those left in SRO will have to be outside the running track, but again there is plenty of room. And wherever you are you have a much better seat than 75% the seats at UK or UL for 1/10 of the price!

So, it's okay if I bash them, right? :lol2:

Can't believe X is more than a 3:2 favorite in the voting. I thought this poll would be darn close to 50/50.

Weather could make impact in this game with high wind and potential for storms depending on timing of storms.

Understand the crowd last week was minimal.

I get the difference in the games - but still- it's one and done.

Were X faithful that sure against the Ram's ?

To be fair, when was the last time that Manual beat X?

29 times in a row, I believe. As to the crowd, U of L and UK played Friday night in basketball. When Male and St X played in the regular season, U of L played Duke at Papa Johns and the crowd was sparse. They missed a heck of a game.

Why would PJCS not be available?
