November 9, 20169 yr Exactly. Republicans are elated right now. I think you saw a lot of voters fed up with Obama and went in there and chust selected the straight Republican ticket cause they associated all Dems with Obama. Kind of unfortunate.

November 9, 20169 yr This was a referendum on Hillary Clinton and the corruption of the Obama administration. The Republicans won despite nominating Donald Trump. Most other Republicans would have won the election by a wider margin than it appears that Trump will. He deserves credit for running a very disciplined campaign down the stretch and staying on message. It shows that he is capable of taking good advice when the game is on the line.

Hopefully he'll be tied up in Mexico trying to get that wall funded. One things for sure, he can't walk away from any mess while POTUS. Welcome to the White House, Donald. November 9, 20169 yr If people are so fed up, why are so few incumbents losing in other races?? If it was all about change, wouldn't it be occurring at all levels, and not just the presidency? In voting for a senator or a representative one is not likely to switch parties. They may have tried to oust the old guard in the primary, but will not cross over to the other party in the general election. There were a bunch who voted for Bevin against McConnell in last year's primary, but voted for McConnell in the general election.
