November 1, 20169 yr Author 7 is a joke, but I'm not really surprised. Now to focus on the Orange Bowl. Had you told me at the beginning of the year Louisville would even be in this discussion I would have taken it.
November 1, 20169 yr Based on their logic, Michigan could be flipped out of the rankings too. They both have 1 good win and a bunch of crappy schools. What is the difference?
November 1, 20169 yr FSU losing the games they did hurt the Cards. That was supposed to be their big win but when FSU lost to NC, that hurt the Cards imo.

I don't know that FSU winning that game would have pushed UL up much higher. Probably above OSU, but not above Washington and not above A&M (which #4, for real?!). Obviously if FSU beat Clemson it would've helped, but it's not like that was FSU losing to an inferior opponent.
November 1, 20169 yr Is Texas A&Ms best game a 19 point loss to Bama? They beat Auburn way before they turned it around. This isn't black and white. Their win over Auburn looks good now, but Auburn is a different team now then they were back then. There is way for me to see A&M being ahead of Louisville much less Washington. Ohio State I can understand because our offense looks atrocious, but OSU has time to fix it. The committee basically said no matter what UofL does they won't pass A&M or Michigan if they all three have 1 loss.
November 2, 20169 yr Committee down on their knees for SEC yet again. A&M loss, OSU loss to MI and any Washington loss and I think UofL has a decent chance.
