October 31, 20169 yr We do Trunk or Treat at our church...wife normally buys the good stuff. Hershey assortment, Blow Pops and Tootsie Pops. This year we have Muddie Buddies also, I'll be trying to ensure those don't get passed out very often.

The kids that terrorize my apartment building don't deserve and especially don't NEED any sugar. So, I go do something else with my time. Once I'm in a house, I plan on doing it up big, haunted house in the garage and all.

November 1, 20169 yr Let me run down stairs and see what the Mrs. just picked up at the store....... Looks like a Hersey's holiday here. Mini bars of kit kat, resse cups, york patties and some other things. Along with a Hot wheels car :sssh: We live down a hill so I head up top and drink a few cold ones with the neighbors. years ago we would get about 60 kids. They are all adults now. Probably will see less than 10 this year. I need to restate my offerings for the evening. Knowing we would get very few tonight. I grabbed a couple of Barbie's, hot wheels sets, minecraft figs and a bunch of other treats to go with the candy. Went up to the top of the street picked through my buddies baskets and added a few twizlers to take home. Waited and ended up coming home with more than I left with. We had ZERO treaters. First time we have even been shut out!
November 1, 20169 yr We'd go broke if we handed out the really good stuff. I bet we had over 700 kids last night. I had bought over $40 worth of candy and at the end we were handing out packs of fruit gummies I had bought for daughter's snacks.

His daughter, a SK soccer player, was at practice. He was on the air. Zero bobble-heads or baseball cards were distributed. Lance said he hears the same story 3rd hand every year and "it is time to end the madness of this urban legend."
