I could not believe some of the obvious pitches he missed and I agree he was VERY one sided in favor of the Cubs. He called a 3-2 fastball to Kris Bryant a ball when it was right down the middle above the knees...not even close to a ball. Isn't he the umpire that Roberto Alomar spit on years ago? Obviously, Alomar was wrong to do that, but the pitch he called Alomar out on was literally 8 inches outside. How Hirschbeck get to do a WS is beyond me. Do they just rotate or is it based on merit??

They set it up and did a minor league game...EVERYONE except the Umpires loved it. Players and Coaches thought that it was great, both pitchers and hitters. I've thought for years it needed to be automated, maybe one day it will be. FWIW, in the test it didn't slow the game down one bit.
